But the most effective nootropics, like Modafinil, aren’t intended for use without a prescription to treat a specific condition. In fact, recreational use of nootropics is hotly-debated among doctors and medical researchers. The information learned in the tasks reviewed so far was explicit, declarative, and consistent within each experiment.
